about K Weber

i graduated from miami university with a bachelor of arts degree (creative writing/poetry emphasis) in 1999. i have self-published 12 poetry book projects since 2003. i am a huge fan of collaboration and have written poems using words (and more!) contributed by 370+ people since 2018. currently, 8 of my 12 poetry collections showcase these joint writing efforts! most recently i have had the pleasure of having other writers create works using donated words. all of my books are available in PDF book layout and some also have an audiobook version. i put the layouts, nuts and bolts of these projects together myself. these online offerings are FREE! all are accessible on this site!kwbw

i created all the sounds you hear in 6 of my 7 audiobooks. i have built my own little library of sounds i have recorded in nature, the city, the country, machinery and more over the years. layering these sounds with me singing or talking or playing synthesizers or windchimes or glockenspiel or guitar or other found sounds yields a ton of possibility for background and ambient soundscapes. some of my experimental noise was integrated into the track ”rough sea & sky & storm’s eyeby matt seigne! i also collaborated with matt on “i just don’t know… and i guess i just don’t know“ where he plays music and sings and i read from one of my poems! we also created a track together called “Small/Small” where i read my poem “Small” and he does the music and some vocals, too!

this is primarily my writing and publishing website. a recent project i am returning to soon is i like so much music. this is where i post poems & CNF i have written using song titles from albums i love! also i enjoy creating digital photo collages. some of my photos and collages have appeared in literary magazines over the last few years. i have written a few reviews, song recommendations, am beginning to take part in more poetry readings and have assisted with light editing for a few projects and publications in the past (notably Inklings, Failed Seeker, Nightingale & Sparrow). i also have tried my hand at writing blurbs for peers’ books.
